Amazing Akihabara “Akiba” karting!
Playtime never gets old !

We made our reservation with Street Kart a bit late, yet they were willing to work with us and provide ample options that would fit our schedule. When we did end up going, they prepared us well for the streets of Tokyo and the costumes were hilarious. The tour itself was amazing, the buildings and sights and sounds. Our instructor saw to our safety and we all had a great time and plenty of pictures were taken. I would recommend this experience to anyone if you happen to be in Tokyo for a length of time.

The tour guides were friendly, and it was a lot of fun! The best way to explore Akihabara in a fun and easy way is by karting! I also felt famous because of the attention the local people gave me by taking pictures and waving at me. The GoPro is also worth it, so take it if you want to look back on it. Extra tip: book it at night if you can :)

I booked about two weeks in advance through Facebook messenger. It was *much* easier to get a booking this way, all the other websites were booked out for months! I was a bit worried about doing this as it didn’t feel as official as booking through a website, but I needn’t have worried! The staff were super professional! I did a 1 hour trip around Akihabara. The guide took SO many photos for us, so I didn’t even need to worry about pulling my phone out and risking dropping it! He took so many that I almost feel bad for him ahaha! Riding the karts was a bit nerve-racking at first, but I very quickly felt confident - Our guide was great at instructing us on the road. At the end, we had photos of us from our trip already printed out as a nice little take home gift!A fantastic experience, I will definitely try out their other routes next time I’m in Tokyo!
